Hello, my name is Bokjin Kim, and I lead a volunteer group called “Global Kimy’s Angel.” The name was given to us by friends who, after seeing our volunteer work, said we were doing angelic things.

It all started when the war broke out in Ukraine. I saw a heartbreaking scene on TV – a little girl, no older than three, clinging tightly to her doll’s led while following her mother. I thought to myself, “What if I could send dolls to children in Ukraine?” And so, I began making dolls – hoping that these children, who have lost everything, could find comfort in something handmade and personal.
One day, I saw my daughter packing OCC Gift Boxes with her children. When I realized that these boxes were being sent to children around the world, it struck me – I could send my dolls through these boxes. Without hesitation, I ordered OCC Gift Boxes and began packing my dolls. That was three years ago, and I’ve been packing boxes ever since.

Handcrafting a doll takes time and effort, but the process becomes joyful when I imagine the children smiling after receiving a box. Every single part of the doll has been made with love and prayer.
I hope to continue sending handmade dolls through OCC Gift Boxes and reach even more children.
